A great party venue with space for up to 300 guests
Whether you are many or just a few, you’ll have all of Donsö Konferens to yourselves, organised and decorated just the way you want it. Our beautiful banqueting hall can cater for up to 86 covers. If there’s more of you, we’ll set tables for up to 300 guests in decorated marquees with sea views. In order to maintain the highest quality, we create customised menus with food and beverages according to your wishes.
Locally produced and as fresh as can be
Fish and shellfish form a natural part of the menu on our island, where fishing is still a thriving business. And of course we also serve meat and poultry from Swedish farms, and we have fully vegetarian menus with the season’s best ingredients. We have beer from local brewers and wines from small, sustainable vineyards. Each of our beverages is carefully selected and there are many non-alcoholic options.

We regard hosting wedding receptions as an honour, and we’re happy to help with everything from tips on flower arrangements, beautiful locations for photos to booking artists and DJs. This is your evening and we’ll do everything we can to make it a success. From the welcome drink on the rooftop terrace to farewell snacks before the last guests head for home.
Let the celebrations begin with a trip across the sea
Donsö is home to several churches and other beautiful venues for weddings. If you choose to get married on the mainland instead, you can rent a private archipelago boat via stromma.com the trip from central Gothenburg or Hisingen to the celebrations on Donsö.
Waking up on the first day of the rest of your life
At the end of the pier, right by Donsö Konferens, is Isbolaget – the old cold store where they kept ice for fishing boats back in the day. These days, it’s a cosy hotel with stunning views of the sea and the fishing harbour.

Kajkanten on Vrångö is but a short boat trip away. A hotel with boathouse apartments for 2–7 people. The boathouses are furnished for self-catering, but breakfast can be ordered in.
